Delete Your Account
The Make it Rain app is used by our own crew and office staff. If you have an account and want it deleted, you can do it yourself in the app, or ask us to do it for you. This page explains exactly what happens.
Delete it yourself, in the app
Open the app, go to More → Account, and choose Delete my account. You will be asked for your password to confirm, because deleting cannot be undone. Your account is removed immediately and you are signed out on every device.
Ask us to delete it
If you have already uninstalled the app, or you would rather we did it, email [email protected] from the address on your account, or call (475) 369-1909. Say that you want your account deleted. We will confirm it is you, delete the account, and email you when it is done — normally within a few business days.
What is deleted
- Your name
- Your email address and phone number
- Your password and your ability to sign in
- Every active session, on every device
Once this is done there is no way back into the account, with your old password or any other.
What is kept, and why
The record of work you did is not deleted. That includes job notes, job photos, and the hours on your timesheets.
Those are the company's business records rather than personal profile information. Your timesheets are payroll records. Your job notes are the account of visits that have already been invoiced to customers — if a customer questions a repair months later, that note is the evidence of what was actually found and done. Deleting it would erase the company's own history of a job, and the customer's.
What changes is that those records no longer identify you. Wherever your name appeared, it is replaced with “Former team member”.
If you are a customer, not a crew member
Customers do not have app accounts. If you are a Make it Rain customer and want your personal details removed from our records, email [email protected] or call (475) 369-1909 and we will take care of it. We keep invoices and payment records where we are required to for tax and accounting purposes.
Text messages
Deleting an account is separate from text messaging. To stop service texts at any time, reply STOP to any message from us. See our Text Message Program page for details.
